| Arbor Day
In
August of 2004 a wonderful 7y.o. 17hh TB gelding named Arbor Day came
into all of our lives. He had been retired from racing due to a pelvic
injury that had occurred several months earlier. In early September an
old injury to one of the tarsal bones in his right hock was also
discovered. At first the prognosis was grim and the fate of our handsome
man was very uncertain.
After months of treatment Arbor Day is doing beautifully.
He gets 2 full body massages a week, good feed and supplements and as
much turnout as possible. He's now doing so well that many believe he'll
return to work this summer!
UPDATE:
2009, Arbor Day is now showing 1st level dressage and consistently
scoring in the 60's. Congrats to our handsome man on overcoming dismal
odds.

Pop Up JoeThis adorable little guy is former racer
who had proven himself to be a bit of a challenge. Always quiet at home,
his nerves would get the best of him when it came time to show. He came
to the farm for exposure to lots of activity and made it into the
dressage ring only three weeks later! He was absolutely adorable and
came home with a ribbons. Congrats to his owner Jen on doing an
excellent job with him!

Fritzi's
Michelle
Fritzi's Michelle came to us at the end of the 2004 race season a bit
underweight and unsure of herself. She is due to have her first
foal by our stallion this Spring! We wish her a happy and safe
delivery!

owned by Pat Roach of Colchester CTThis adorable 5y.o. Arabian/Saddlebred
cross was presenting with moderate to severe soreness in her neck,
topline and haunches. The soreness was such that she was
overflexing in the neck and not engaging her hind end while
being ridden. Now she is doing much better and starting to really strut
her stuff in the arena! She's much more relaxed and always happy to see
"her very own masseuse!"
